How much will it cost to handle my case?

Do I need to have an attorney in small claims court?
If you are a business, you are required to have an attorney represent you in small claims court. Individuals are permitted to represent themselves, but it is prudent to be represented by an attorney. How long will my litigation take? It depends. In New Jersey, cases are separated into different tracks that determine how long the discovery period is. The more complicated the litigation, the higher the track, and the longer it will take to resolve the litigation.
